In July 1998, The Charity Baptist Church of Indianapolis IN commissioned Pastor Tom Kline and his family to start an Independent Baptist Church in Castlegar BC. Brother Kline with his wife Betsy and three children arrived in Castlegar on July 15, 1998. Renting our current building, which we subsequently purchased, the first services were held on August 22 of that year with 33 in attendance. By God's grace we have seen many souls saved, baptized, discipled, and growing in the Lord. By the grace of God Castlegar Baptist Church remains committed to Expounding the Scriptures, Edifying the Saints, Exposing Satan and Exalting the Saviour. We look forward to meeting you and your family at Castlegar Baptist Church at one of our services.
